Interior design is the art of upgrading architectural design or other internal designs like modern homes, apartments, hotels, bars, restaurants, offices, etc. Different tools are used, like commercial furniture, home furniture, industrial lighting, and home decoration accessories, and provides services to  Hospitals, Restaurants, Commercial Buildings, lounges, and residence Buildings. 

To be a successful designer, one must have adequate knowledge of:

  • Material, color, place, textiles.
  • Software applications for 2D and 3D computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM)
  • structural requirements, health and safety issues, and building codes.

After this, they work with contractors, architects, engineers, craftsmen, furniture dealers, and businesses for homeowners.

For example, if we want to feel relaxed and comfortable in our workplace, then lively colours are used in order to feel better. Soothing colours like blue, yellow, and white can be used in order to feel freshened. Besides, the psychology of colour can also differ for a person. One might feel better whereas the other might feel depressed.
